Loving thoughts to the family from Julie,Jake,Elias,Rebecca and Jalen xoxoxox always missed

David was definitely a wonderful friend for several years and I was blessed to get to know him as well as his lovely wife Ruth.   After losing my husband Bob in March 2021, I definitely know what a difficult time Ruth has been going through the past year and it continues.   I know that reflecting on all the Good Times is very important and helps so much.      Many prayers and thoughts for Ruth today.   She is definitely my dear friend.

David is missed so much on our Sunnyside Campus as a friend, neighbor and volunteer.  He was a great husband to my dear friend Ruth for over 50 years.  I really enjoyed attending their big wedding anniversary celebration.  He was also a great dad and granddad.  He and Ruth worked very hard with a wonderful business called the Great  Frame Up in Charlottesville.   David was a Very dedicated Christian.    He was also very funny so I enjoyed his stories. 

Ruth - I am so shocked and sad to hear about Dave.  I cherished every conversation I had with him throughout the years at Peace Lutheran and more recently enjoyed corresponding via email.  I will regret forever not making it over to visit as we had planned to catch up on life and share stories about our cruises.  He was such a special man, and my heart goes out to you as you grieve during this difficult time.  I pray that God will bring you comfort and that it somehow helps you to know that others care about you greatly and are sharing your loss.  Much love to you!

Ruth, Mike, Jen, Katherine, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Ruth, you and David were so supportive of me when I came to Loaves & Fishes, as you were during the earliest days of the pantry. I regret that I will be out of town this weekend, but you will be in my thoughts and heart. I wish that you may find eventually find peace after this great loss.

Ruth and Dave figured heavily in my life when l was married to their nephew.Both so kind and always welcoming towards us at all times. They kindly gave me a beautiful picture they had in their framing shop that l had been admiring for months .It is one of my prized possessions and l have always loved the generosity behind this gift.l have always loved getting news about their family through my children but this news was a true shock met with extreme sadness.
