William R. Goudy

Born January 31, 1952, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Harry Ellsworth Goudy and Edna Nina Salter. He was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School and the owner of Select Environmental Technologies, Inc. He was a Marine Veteran and a member of the American Legion, and the NRA. Bill was a true master of all trades and he enjoyed the challenge of inventing solutions to unique, difficult problems as well as fattening up his cat, Alvin. His two true loves were riding his motorcycle with his motorcycle buddies and spending time with his wife, daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Therese M. (Jones) Goudy; two daughters, Jennifer L. Wilson, & her husband Jason L., of Landisburg and Elizabeth A. Zamora, & her husband Ryan L., of Adkins, TX; six grandchildren, Mark, Brooke, Lilyanna, Koen, Avery, and Carter; 3 sisters, Nina June Davis & her husband, William M., of Lemoyne, Jane Schaeffer of Dover, and Marcia Sites of Camp Hill; and one brother, Glen R. Goudy of Virginia.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, and Friday, August 24, 2012, 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, in the funeral home. Burial; with full military honors, will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
