William “Bill” Morgan, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015, at his home in the B’nai B’rith Apartments. He was born January 11, 1932, in Columbus, OH, son of the late Violet L. Morgan.
Bill was a member of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church. He had worked as a salesman and enjoyed playing cards, Po-Ke-No, Bingo and going to Hollywood Casino.
Surviving are his very close friend and caregiver, Doris Jean Norris; close friends, Geraldine Crist and John Knight; and his godson, Kim Park. He was preceded in death by close friends, Ken Landis and Gary Bucher.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 13, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110 with Pastor James Jackson officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Church. Interment at Rolling Green Cemetery will follow the service.
