Viola De Vita, 90, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Hershey Medical Center. Born May 2, 1931, in Rose, Providence of Cosenza, Italy; daughter of the late Rocco and Rosa (Infante) Boschelli; preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo De Vita; 4 brothers, Giovanni, Antonio, Eugenio and Luigi; and 2 sisters, Filomena and Rosaria. Surviving are 5 daughters, Concettina Ippolito (Pasquale), Mirella Marsico, Sarina Flores (Antonio), Luisa Tobasco (Leo) and Susi Headen (Joseph); 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her caregivers, Margarita Cevallos and Maria Gongora. Viola was a retired seamstress and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Market St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewings will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday and 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Wednesday, at the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Recitation of the rosary will be at 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
