Thomas J. Hayden, 81 of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at his home.

He was born September 6, 1936, in Lykens; he was the son of the late Thomas and Louise (Hentz) Hayden; and preceded in death by his two sisters, Margaret and Anna; and brother, Vincent.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carole L. Hayden; 3 sons, John, Mark and Peter; 2 daughters, Teresa and Karen; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary.

Thomas was a retired employee from Heim Electric and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church and the Lykens Knights of Columbus Council.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
