Phia helped me through some of the hardest times of my life. In recovery. She always made me laugh, oh my god was she so freaking funny. Her laugh was like nothing else. I’m at a loss for words. Her beauty lit up every room she walked in. I’ll forever hold her in my heart.

My beautiful friend Sophia. I have been struggling to find the right words to describe you. You were bright, unique, individual, and spunky. You gave such strong genuine hugs, I can still feel them they were that strong . You took pride in your appearance, and loved being creative in expressing yourself with unique fashion, makeup and accessories. Not for attention, you just enjoyed feeling put together and created what you wanted to express that day. You never let the opinions of others affect you being fully you. You had such confidence in yourself, something I admired greatly in you at such a young age. You had a strong will to help others who struggled, and you let everyone you met know that they mattered. You never waivered to step up when someone asked for help, no matter who they were or the situation, this came naturally to you. Seeing you unexpectedly instantly brought me joy and excitement. I recently came to visit you at your new job, where you were thrilled to be given the opportunity to learn about herbs, crystals and their properties. You shared with me that you loved the smell of dragons blood in powdered form. I later learned that this was a volunteer position you weren't being paid for... you really were so overjoyed about this opportunity and I loved being able to visit you at work and share this space with you, learning from you, and seeing you shine in a place that brought you such joy. You were eager to learn everything you possibly could here. You were selfless. You were confident. You were a friend to anyone who needed one, without hesitation. You are already missed so deeply, but you definitely left your mark on Earth and your memories we all shared with you will live on forever. If not in photos and mental images, in hearing your voice and your laugh, than by the beads on my Doc Martens that will always make me think of you, just being you. I love you Sophia, and I'm so grateful our paths crossed and for the moments we shared together <3

I forever am gone love and miss you like a sister you mean so much more to me then you will ever know I still can’t believe your gone I just spoke to you the day prior to your passing  and ran into you accidentally a few days prior coincidentally, I still don’t know how I am going to take this one but just know you are loved by so many I’ll forever cherish our memories and all the advice you gave me, you never ever failed to put a smile on my face everytime I saw you following with a big hug an I love you like a sis 🤞🏽 I hope you are with the angels and your loved ones, you really was a real one and I feel like there was so much more friendship amd memories ahead of us that didn’t get created but you will always be in my heart  and I’m gone stay strong for you just like you would have wanted 😭😭💘

My Sweet Sophia, we just became friends two months ago and Ive never felt such a strong pure, loving connection like I had with you with anyone else. You are so unique and irreplaceable. Beautiful, talented, smart, hilarious, such a model, so empathetic, and so loyal. I’m so happy we got to do so many memorable things in such a short amount of time. I had so much fun with you and your family and am so thankful to have met you where I did and I really wish I can just hear your voice and laugh and hug you just one more time. My heart is in pieces for you Sophia. It’s always the people you know for a short amount of time that end up being the most meaningful. You started to mean the world to me and I hated going an hour without texting or calling you. I always wanted to talk to you or come catch a train to come see you and sleepover. I had so many good laughs, conversations and moments with you that I will never forget. I hate that I cant be your photographer anymore, that we can’t sing our favorite songs in the car together, that we can’t go get Korean BBQ like you wanted to take me to for the entirety of our friendship, that we can’t do witchy stuff together, and basically that I can never see you again. I’m at a loss for words right now. Sophia truly was one of the funniest, most caring person I knew. She always made sure that you knew she missed you when you didn’t see her for a long time. Some of my last conversations with her are us catching up, making sure the other is okay, and saying we love each other. I’ll forever hold those conversations close to my heart. I went on so many adventures with her, some I would have never thought about going on/knew about if I wasn’t friends with her and I’m so thankful that I got to experience them with her. I’m thinking about all of her friends and family right now that got the incredible opportunity to know her. I love you so much Sophia.

Sophia was a beautiful soul with a kind and funny spirit.  I will forever cherish the friendship we had and would do anything to have one last conversation with her. I got to know Sophia in 7th grade and she was the only friend I kept contact with after moving away from Pennsylvania. We would always call each-other and sometimes speak for hours at a time. She was always an amazing friend and would always be straight up which was an honest and amazing trait about her. I wish to hear her goofy laugh one more time or hear her voice. My sincerest condolences go out to Melissa and Frank. Rest in peace sweet girl.

sophia was one of my best friends. she was a beautiful woman inside and out. i still cant believe i wont be able to hear her laugh again or see her smile. she was there for me when everyone left me. she took care of me, she would listen to me and comfort me. no matter what she was there when i needed her. we have so many memories, i just wish we couldve continued to make more. she truly had a beautiful soul. forever my best friend. i love you. until we meet again. rest in peace angel.

I am so deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sophia. She was one of the most remarkable, radiating people I’ve ever met. The type of person that’s energy sticks with you forever. I’m so beyond grateful and blessed to have had her by my side rooting for me during one of the most frightening and transitional periods of my life. You gave me the courage I needed Sophia and I couldn’t have done it without you. I would give anything to go back one last time to sit on that back porch with you and talk about life. I am so grateful I had someone like Sophia in my life. She always offered the best advice, hugs, and adventures. Dancing around singing Lana Del Rey with her will always be one of my favorite memories. I will never find someone else like her, and I will hold those memories with me for the rest of my life. My very special friend who has been there for me for almost a decade. I’m still in denial that there will be no more iron age dates or iconic photo shoots. You were such an important person in my growth journey and taught me never to care about what other people think.

My heart breaks to hear this gut wrenching news. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. I am lucky to call Sophia a friend of mine and will never forget our memories and the comfort and peace she brought me.
