Rose Marie Kramer, forever 24, born July 1954 passed through Heavens Gates May 8, 2024. She was raised in Enola, Pennsylvania and attended East Pennsboro High School, class of 1972. Preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Ruth Rader, brothers Samual Rader, Boyd (Butch) Rader Jr. and sister Donna Eslinger. She is survived by her sister Linda Bear and brothers Tom Rader and Greg Rader.
Rose married the love of her life, Scott Kramer, on September 9, 1989. Her life is celebrated daily by her sons Michael A. and wife Carie, Zachary A. and wife Alexis. She was blessed to be Meme to 15 grandchildren; Alisha, Brandon, Brittney, Bryanna, Damion, Deangelo, Domonic, Donivan, Elizabeth, Lacie, Mikayla, Miranda, Raeann, Skylynn, Tyler and her 4 great-grandchildren Clayton, Emma, Jaxx and Skie.
Rose loved traveling with her husband Scott to see out of state family, and exploring countries they have never been to before. One of her biggest keepsakes from her travels was her collection of sand she had from various adventures. She loved working in her flower garden and watching her flowers blossom and grow. She adored her Morning Glories and her mini Hibiscus plants, which were her favorite. She was a very talented and well known baker in the family. Between her pumpkin rolls, peanut butter eggs, and cookies, someone was always asking for one of them. She loved reading books in her spare time, playing mahjong with the grandkids, playing solitaire, doing the daily crossword puzzle in the paper, and doing word searches. Rose loved crafting. It was a huge passion she loved indulging in, one of many memories she loved sharing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing new stuffed animals for the kids, knitting, and also making baby blankets for the numerous newborns of friends and family.
Rose's most memorable moments were family get togethers and cookouts. Sometimes being a handful with having to prep and cook for "an army" as she liked to say. She adored family time, she loved hearing what the kids have been doing in school or learning new skills. You never saw Rose without a smile from ear to ear when she was around her family.
Rose devoted her life to fostering and caring of children throughout their adulthood in her home. Her life was especially touched by Scotty, Ian, Jason and Darryl. Taking in children with special needs that needed a home, which turned into the children being apart of the family for life. It takes a special kind of soul to do what she did each and every day.
From her loving husband Scott: Rose Kramer you are my rock. My everything. You are the best Mom & Meme anyone could wish for. The love that you showed everyone around you was a special gift you shared. I love you with all my heart and soul. My life has forever changed on May 8th of this year, but you are no longer fighting the demon of cancer. These past 5 weeks in the hospital were the toughest to watch you go thru. Your last breath that you said you loved me is the most precious gift you could give me. Reach out and hold my hand everyday. Mike, Carie, Zach, Alexis and all of our grand kids and great grand kids will miss you terribly. My heart already aches without you. I love you hunny!
A celebration of life will be scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2024 between 1pm-4pm at the Mechanicsburg Sportsmans Club, 493 Sample Bridge Road, Enola Pennsylvania 17025.
