Jay graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 1960, and was retired from Forklifts Inc.. He was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 1299.
Jay loved time with his family, watching baseball, and puttering around his flower and vegetable gardens. If you needed directions he could provide every which way to get there and was sure to share each one with you (a comical memory for his children).
He is loved and missed by his wife, May (Heiges) Rynard, his two daughters, Pennie Rynard and Kesha Rynard. Two grandchildren, James Rasmussen and Kyra Cross, and two great- grandchildren, all of Carlisle.
He is also survived by two sisters Shirl (Rynard) Morrison, Delores (Rynard) Hostetter and three brothers Don, Leslie “Ben”, and Greg Rynard, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce (Rynard) Heberlig and Revenda Rynard, and three brothers Merle, Russell and Norm Rynard.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 12:00pm, Mt Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Drive, Mt. Holly Springs with visitation at 11am and fellowship to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jay’s name to the Mt. Holly Springs Church of God.
