He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War, a Structural Draftsman for Stewart Amos Steel Co., a member of the Rutherford AMVETS, the VFW Post 148, the American Legion Post 998, Camp Curtin Fire Co., Harrisburg Maennerchor Club, Robert Burns Lodge, 464 F&AM and the Harrisburg Consistory.
Ronald is survived by his long time companion, Wanda Freed, a sister-in-law, Shirley Hearn, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be a viewing 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
