First and foremost Bob was a family man who devoted his life to his (deceased) wife and children. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. His professional work was in the fields of accounting and management, retiring from Castle Rubber Co. in East Butler. After retirement he pursued his interests in organic gardening, hunting, fishing, horse racing, and following his favorite sport teams – the Steelers and Penguins – and trips to the Outer Banks with his children and grandchildren. He was born an athlete and remained active for as long as his body allowed. His love and support was the rock our lives were built on. He will be missed beyond measure by all.
