Rita was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Parish since 1954. For most of her adult life Rita was an avid painter; only stopping when arthritis forced her to put away the brushes. She enjoyed bowling and did so with a group of friends for many years on a weekly basis. Rita was an entertainer extraordinaire who hosted numerous social gatherings at her home. She loved to travel and made her way to the Caribbean, Hawaii and Europe on several occasions.
Rita's home was open to everyone. She touched many lives. So much that over the years she sometimes found herself as something of a surrogate mother to friends of her daughters. She is finally at peace, reunited with her beloved husband Bill.
