Richard D. Lewis

He was preceded in death by his brothers, R. Jay Lewis and William R. Lewis.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris L. (Ehrenfeld) Lewis; 3 daughters, Pamela L. Lewis, and DeeAnn McHugh, husband, Robert, both of Harrisburg, and Evawn R. McCoy, husband, David, of Seneca, SC; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his sister, Jeanne Beaver, of Burnham; and his brother, Warren L. Lewis, of Marysville.

He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, were he was past Chairman of the Board for the Postmark Credit Union, past State Treasurer for the Rural Letter Carriers, and past State Steward for the Rural Letter Carriers.

He was a charter member of the Ridgeway Community Church; and a member of the William S. Snyder Lodge #756 F&AM, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forrest # 43.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Ridgeway Community Church, 525 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held 10:00 AM Friday until the time of service at the church.
