Oscar G. Zeiders

Oscar G. Zeiders, 96, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday at The Gardens at Stevens. Born January 1, 1926 in Harrisburg, he was the first baby born in PA in 1926; he was the son of the late Oscar Willard and Virginia (McQueenie) Zeiders; and preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Zeiders. Surviving are his daughter, Susan E. Selfridge; two sons, Scott A. Zeiders and his wife Linda and Jeffrey A. Zeiders and his wife, Michele; 7 grandchildren, Kristen Anderson, Jaimi Zeiders, Amy Lilkendey, Ryan Zeiders, Katelyn Barrick, Samantha Zeiders and Adam Zeiders; and 5 great-grandchildren. Oscar was a retired System Analyst for the New Cumberland Army Depot and a decorated U. S. Army veteran of WW II. Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
