Nozomi S. Toomey, 85, of Hummelstown, PA, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at home with her family by her side.
She was born in Taiwan, formerly known as Formosa. Daughter of the late Tetsuo and Shizuko (Honda) Inoue, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Hitomi Washizu.
Nozomi is the widow of Francis J. Toomey who preceded her in death, November 3, 2006.
Nozomi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, needlepoint, embroidery and crocheting.
Survived by her daughter Margaret Toomey Matthews, son-in-law J. Richard Matthews, and granddaughter Rachael Matthews of Hummelstown.
Funeral services were private at the convenience of the family with burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
