Michael A. Shoop passed the Sunday after his 62nd birthday on February 28th, with his family by his side.

He was the son of the late Mary Ann Farrell and William K. Shoop.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Shoop; daughter, Amber Bostdorf (Jason); two sons, Aaron Shoop and Jonathan Shoop (Lindsey); grandkids, Chloe and Atley Bostdorf and Lila Shoop; stepmother, Colleen Shoop; and two brothers, Raymond Shoop (Dianna) and Ken Shoop.

Michael was retired and served in the U.S. Army for 6 years.

He was an active member of the Penn Harris Gun Club and the Bressler Club.

Michael enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, gardening, cooking and most of all loved spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Penn Harris Gun Club, 201 Richardson Rd., Middletown, PA 17057.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans, 4219 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011.
