Michael "Mike" Austin Crist, 69, of Harrisburg, passed away at home on July 9, 2021. Born in Harrisburg on August 12, 1951, he was the son of Marlin Elwood and Elsie Mae Beatty Crist. He is survived by his wife Linda May Hopple Crist.
Mike enjoyed fishing but more than that, he enjoyed sharing that joy of fishing with his family and friends. He was a wonderful man, a great friend, father, and husband and will be greatly missed by everyone that loved him.
Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Crist, sister, Cheryl Crist Barder, and grandson Ryan Amspacher.
Mike leaves behind his wife Linda and six children; Stacey Crist, Scott Crist (wife Valerie), Thomas Crist, Kathy Stickle (husband, Shawn), Michael Messimer (wife, Bella), Nancy Hoch (fiancee Bob Diodato), his sister Dori Crist, his brother Thomas Crist (wife, Lillian), 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 5 nieces.
