Mary E. Stockmal Frey

Born June 15, 1930, in Nesquehoning, she was daughter of the late Andrew and Susan (Klenotic) Stockmal.

Mary was a faithful and devoted member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She was very involved with her church and was a member of the Parish Council, The Golden Gems, the Funeral Meals Ministry, and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Mary was also a member of the Council of Catholic Women and formerly worked at Bingo games at the Church.

She was Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Air Force Sergeants Association and The American Business Women's Association and she was a local coordinator for Meals on Wheels. Mary was retired from the former Bell Telephone where she had worked as a senior clerk.

Surviving are her sons, Michael D. Frey of Marysville, Thomas J. Frey of Bridgewater, NJ, Patrick A. Frey of Baltimore, MD, and Matthew G. Frey of Harrisburg; and 4 grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 13, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6150 Allentown Boulevard, Harrisburg, PA 17112 with the Rev. Mark T. Wilke officiating. Viewing will be from 10-11:00 a.m. at her Church. Interment following the Mass will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holy Name of Jesus Building Fund at the above address.
