Marie F. Wallace

Marie DeMarco Wallace, 74, daughter of the late Zapito and Anna DeMarco passed away on March 18, 2014 after a long illness. She was born on July 4, 1939 in her parent's Susquehanna Township home. Marie was a graduate of Susquehanna High School and retired from Nationwide Insurance Company. Marie was active in various clubs, among them Chums 55, Susquehanna Golden Agers, Nationwide Old Timers and the Guys and Dolls Travel Club. She enjoyed bingo, casinos, gardening and baseball, particularly the New York Yankees and Harrisburg Senators. She is survived by her son Fred and wife (Linda), Two daughters Tina and husband (Rich) and Dawn. Her much loved sister-in-law Sally DeMarco, nieces and nephews. Her 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband James and son, James, Jr. Viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., with funeral services to follow on Friday, March 21, 2014, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street Harrisburg. Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Gardens, Camp Hill.
