Marie Teresa Leonard, 92, Harrisburg, passed away March 1, 2023, at The Oakes of Bethany Village. She was born October 30, 1930, in Bakerton, PA., the youngest child of Nunziato and Conchetta (Isgro) Dominick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Leonard, brothers Frank, Sam and Anthony Dominick; sisters Margaret, Sandie and Josephine Dominick, Carmela Terrizzi and Angela Raffa. She is survived by her brother, Jack Dominick, Carrolltown PA. three sons: Frank Leonard, McLean VA., Thomas Leonard, (husband of Melissa) Harrisburg , Robert Leonard, Harrisburg: grandchildren Frank (husband of Sarah) Arlington VA, Paul (husband of Abi) Charlotte NC., Catherine, Julie Heisey (wife of Kenny ) Matthew (husband of Anne) Allison and Bekah all from Harrisburg: Daughter-in-law Linda Leonard, Annandale VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Teresa was a graduate of Carrolltown High School and moved to Harrisburg soon thereafter for work. Teresa married Frank Leonard on August 13, 1960, and shared fifty years of marriage until his passing. Frank and Teresa were long time members of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Harrisburg. She was an Administrative Secretary for the Department of Labor and Industry, leaving the workforce to raise her family. Teresa enjoyed traveling the country with her husband, summers with family in Carrolltown, PA., late night pinochle and feeding all who would come to the house. More than anything, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. Friends will be received in the Divine Mercy Room at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg, Tuesday, March 7th, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Harrisburg.
