Margaret Grant, age 73 of Houston Texas, died Thursday September 26, 2024. Born on Thursday, September 6, 1951 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; daughter of the late Joseph L. and Margaret Popp Sr.; beloved wife of 54 years to John T. Grant, Sr.; loving mother of Captain Jeffrey T. Grant & wife Jessica of Virginia Beach, Virginia, James Grant Sr. of Houston, Texas and the late infant son, John T. Grant Jr.; cherished grandmother of James A Grant Jr., John Michael Grant, Branson Grant & Wyatt Grant; adoring great-grandmother of Kelie A. Vecellio.

Margaret & John built their 54 years of marriage in several locations, moving to Gillette, Wyoming in 1982, Farmington, New Mexico in 1995 and finally Houston Texas in 1999. She worked for Apache Corp for 30 years, enjoyed collecting vintage jewelry, gardening, flowers, canning vegetables and puzzles but nothing was more important than her family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Cremation and Burial Society of Pennsylvania, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
