M. Willois Wertz

M. Willois Wertz, died of natural causes at her home in Harrisburg, PA. She was the daughter of late Henry N. King and Ruth F. King, of Shillington, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John R. Wertz.

She was a graduate of Shillington High School class of 1939 and was the former Harrisburg District Office Administrative Assistant for the 17th Congressional District for Robert M. Mumma, John C. Kunkle, and Herman T. Schneebeli. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Harrisburg; Eastern Star Astro Chapter 380 of Harrisburg; a life member of Pinnacle Health Auxillary; and a former member of ABWA.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie L. Grossman, wife of Jim Grossman, of Mechanicsburg, and Ruth Ann Rudy, wife of William J. Rudy Jr., of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Michelyn Ruth Heberle-Crouse, William J. Rudy III, John G. Rudy, and Lisa A. McMurtry and 6 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 27, 2012, in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, April 27, 2012, in the St. Mary’s Chapel at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 3700 Rutherford St., Harrisburg.
