Whether you knew her as Luanne, Lulu, Mom, or Nana, her presence in our lives made each one of us better. Her selfless and caring nature was who she was, and she spent her life dedicated to mentoring and helping others in any way she could. She was a resilient woman, guided by her faith, and when life threw her a curve, she always moved forward fearlessly. She was well known for her sharp sense of humor and intelligence, and she could always find something to make us laugh, really laugh, about. She was a great listener and would provide a thoughtful perspective when one was needed.
Luanne loved caring for pets and rescued many dogs and cats from shelters throughout her life. She loved to dance and always enjoyed music. She enjoyed stand-up comedy and streaming documentaries. She spent 25 years working for Walmart and developed lasting friendships and acquaintances with coworkers and customers alike. She never missed the things she did not have in life but instead focused on where she could bring some light and happiness to others. For those that had the pleasure of being touched by her, we will always aspire to continue to live by the examples she has set for us all; Be kind and caring, be strong and appreciative, enjoy the moment you are in, and always find humor in ourselves and the world around us.
