

Loretta A. Intrieri, 92, of Royalton, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012, with her family by her side, at the Select Care Unit Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born February 26, 1920, in Waynesboro, PA, as Loretta Stong, the daughter of the late Lester and Kathleen Stong. She was preceded in death by her late husband Charles J. Intrieri, and by her brothers Floyd Stong, and wife Renee, of Paxtang and Richard Stong, and wife Margaret, of Rutherford.
Loretta was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Harrisburg. Her love and passion for life included being a loving mother, homemaker, playing bingo, listening and dancing to music, and she was an expert puzzle solver. She had the great gift of hospitality and she brightened the lives of all who knew her with her smile. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Helen M. Traini, of Paxtang, Charles J. Intrieri Jr., and wife, Rita, of Lewisberry, Lillian C. Bowers, and fiancé, Jay Boetner, of Royalton, and Debra M. Markel, and husband Frank, of Paxtang; brothers, Lester Stong, of Sun City, AZ, Robert Stong, and wife Delores, of Linglestown; sister, Marcie Gormus of Rehobeth Beach, DE; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012, 11:00a.m in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service.
