

Katherine Ann "Kay" Riley, age 67, of Camp Hill, PA passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Holy Spirit Hospital. Born on June 29, 1951 in Greenville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Maurice and Norma June (Hillman) Riley. Kay was a veteran operator of the Randolph Sheppard business enterprise program. On November 11, she would have celebrated her 43rd year in business. Kay was dedicated to and active in the Randolph Sheppard program. She served on the Pennsylvania Elected Committee for many years and held various position including secretary, treasurer, vice chair and chair. Her current position being vice chair. She also served on the board of the Pennsylvania Blind Concessionaires. Her current position being the secretary/treasurer. Kay was always willing to serve and help others become successful operators and achieve success. She was awarded the Stephen F. Gold award in 2005 in recognition of her outstanding service to blind and other disabled people. She was a tremendous advocate and influence in the blind business community.
Surviving are a niece, Vicky Snideman and her husband, Steve. Her friends and chosen family Rick and Betty Berry and Michael and Brenda Faulkner and her "adopted" grandson Mark Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Royce and her beloved friend Regina Pence.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 4 pm at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. A viewing will be held from 3 pm to 4 pm at the funeral home. The burial will be announced.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Pennsylvania Blind Concessionaires or the Vision Resource of Central Pennsylvania earmarked for the Children's Christmas party or the Children's Camp or to a charity of your choice in memory of Kay.
