Joy Marie Howe

Born July 9, 1940, in Gladewater, TX, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Velma (Harris) Stephenson.

Joy worked at the Pratt Regional Medical Center, Pratt, KS for many years. She spent the last 11 yrs in PA as a caregiver for her two oldest grandchildren. She was a previous member of the Elks Club in Pratts, KS. Joy enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spoiling her grandkids and dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Burdett and R.G. Howe; and her sisters, Joan Greenstreet and Barbara Davis.

Surviving Joy are her children, Neill Burdett of Wichita, KS, Doug Howe of Pratt, KS, Barby Biggs and husband Shawn of Pine Grove, PA; grandchildren, Devyn and Derek Biggs and Riley Howe; sister, Wanda Hale and husband Robert of Round Rock, TX; and nieces and nephews, Ruthie Wallin, Robert Hale, Jr., Deb Zang, Terry Davis, and Gerald (Homer) Davis.
