Born January 25, 1936 in Williamsport; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Gehret) Jacobs; and preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Marsico; 2 sons, Donald G. Marsico Jr. and Matthew Marsico; sister, Sandy Schuler; and brother, Jeff Jacobs.
Surviving is a son, Anthony J. Marsico; 2 daughters, Debbie Moeller and Karen Rohrbaugh; 8 grandchildren, Chelsea, Jenna, Nina, Jacqueline, Angelena, Joshua, Anthony Jr. and Dante; 7 great-grandchildren, Jaden, Andrew, Arianna, Jon Jon Jr., Kayden, Lucia and Stella; 3 brothers, Johnny, Terry and Stevie Jacobs.
Joanne retired from Nationwide Insurance Co with over 20 years of service. Joanne was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church and life member of the Rutherford VFW Post 1213 Ladies Auxillary and the Lawnton American Legion Post 998 Ladies Auxillary.
Joanne was the ultimate mother, family was everything to her, she also loved traveling in the South, Bethany Beach and shopping.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, August, 19, 2022 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:30 AM Friday until the time of the service at the church.
