Joan R. Hefflefinger

She was born March 21, 1941 in Harrisburg, PA; she was the daughter of the late Robert and Laura Hefflefinger; preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee East SR; her son, Steven Scott Jones; her 2 sister, Karen and Nancy Carpenter; and her brother, Robert Hefflefinger.

She was a retired employee from the Commonwealth of PA and a member of The Kingdom Church of Harrisburg.

Joan was an avid Harrisburg High Cougar fan and a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Michele Banks and Tracey Roy, both of Harrisburg; 3 stepdaughters, Rosaline East and Jacqueline East, bvoth of Harrisburg, and Carla Jenkins, of Atlanta, GA; 3 stepsons, Harry East Jr, of Miami, FL, Michael and Timothy East, both of Harrisburg; a brother, Jack Hefflefinger, of Harrisburg; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery. A viewing will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
