James C. Livesay

Jim was born August 16, 1930, in Wallace, NC.

He graduated from Wallace High School on 1949 and shortly thereafter joined the U.S. Navy where he served as a medical technologist. He spent much of his adult life working as an X-ray Technician for the Levendale Geriatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Jim enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and playing the piano and organ.

There are no close relatives. He was preceded in death by his long and steadfast friend of more than 50 yrs, Herbert Snyder, Jr. He leaves behind his caring neighbors and longtime friends, Ron and Kathy Rohrbaugh, Judy and Denny Wertz, Norma and Steve Shermeyer and their families.

After cremation, a graveside service will be held Monday, February 9, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at Prospect Hill Cemetery, York, PA, with Pastor Jack Craft officiating.
