James Brown, 77, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, Oct 6, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Dec. 19, 1941, in Shamokin, he was a son of the late Leon and Eva Brown.
James was an avid NASCAR and Sprint Car fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and his dog, Boh.
Surviving are his wife of 46 yrs., Patricia Brown; 2 sons, James Brown, Jr. and Bryan Brown; 1 daughter, Shelly (Brown) Crisamore; 5 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; and 1 great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 1 brother; and 3 sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019, 11AM, at Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, 175 North Fairville Ave, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc., 7790 Grayson Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
