Jack A. Lucas Jr., 62, passed away at his home in Elizabethtown on September 12, 2018 with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Harrisburg on July 29, 1956. Jack worked at Amp/Tyco for 28 years but most currently was employed by Amphenol Intercon Systems as a project manager. He is a member of Fishburn United Methodist Church where he served as chairman of the trustees for many years.
He is survived by his wife Angela (Lopez) Lucas and daughter Kaitlyn (Benjamin) Vannoy and his first grandchild who is due to be born in December. He considered himself the son of Sonny and Betty Lopez as well as Dolly Lopez.
Jack enjoyed taking road trips on his Harley Davidson with his wife and going to Penn State games with his daughter, but what he really loved most was spending time with his family and friends at his cabin in Northern PA. He loved to go fishing in the Pine Creek, hiking and snowmobiling in the winter.
A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held on September 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Fishburn United Methodist Church, 1215 Fishburn Rd, Hershey PA 17033. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Homeland Hospice, Children’s Miracle Network of Penn State Children’s Hospital or his church.
