Born in Harrisburg; she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Inquagiato) Abate; and preceded in death by her husband, Stanley R. Smith, Jr.
Surviving is her son, George S. Smith, of Thomasville, NC; Helen had no grandchildren.
Helen was a retired employee from the Commonwealth of PA; and a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bishop McDevitt High School.
