Hannelore "Lou" Frieda Leitzel

She was born October 15, 1933, in West Hanover, Germany; she was the daughter of the late Paul and Erna (Netie) Kitzing; and preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Kenneth Leitzel; a sister; a brother; and a great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her lifelong companion, Robert G. Smith; 3 daughters, Sharon Daniels, of Gratz, Shauntell Holtzapple (Brock), of Liverpool and Shapell Kissinger (Todd), of Dalmatia; 3 sons, Andrew Leitzel (Brenda), of Elizabethville, Allen Leitzel (Denise), Leesburg, FL and Aaron Leitzel (Linda), of Millersburg; a step-daughter, Robin Colley (Jon), of Round Rock, TX; a step-son, Bradley Smith (Stephanie), of TX; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

She was a retired owner of the former Lou’s Lullaby, of Gratz and a member of the Millersburg Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 59 Ladies Auxiliary.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg.
