Gary Lee Messimer
August 9, 1945 – June 26, 2019
IN THE CARE OF
Gary Lee Messimer, 73, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Gardens at West Shore.
He was born August 9, 1945, in Rutherford Heights, PA; he was the son of the late Merle and Ellen (Brunner) Messimer; and preceded in death by two brothers, Merle D.L. Messimer Sr. and James E. Messimer Sr.; and two sisters, Wendie Mae Messimer and Brenda J. Noble.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Dawson; and his granddaughter, Alexis C. Thompson.
Gary was a retired employee for Slough Flooring, Penbrook.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Dellville Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
