Born July 30, 1941 in Oberlin, PA; he was the son of the late Milton and Cora (Derick) Linn; and preceded in death by his wife, Paulette (Houser) Linn.
Surviving are his children, Franklin D. Linn Jr (Lesli), Stephanie M. Molnar (Mark) and Tamara S. Miller (David); 4 grandchildren, Abigail Pfister (Nathan), Nicholas Linn (Tiffany), Morgan Molnar and Alec Molnar; a great-granddaughter, Felicity Pfister; a brother, Ralston Linn (Patricia); 3 sisters, Sandra McCleary, twin sister Eleanor Kling and Patricia Gajdek (John); and many nieces and nephews.
Frank retired from the PA House of Representatives, where he served as a Specialist in Intergovernmental Affairs, and served as President of the Board of Lower Swatara Twp. Commissioners.
Frank portrayed Santa Claus for over 50 years and was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, class of 1960, where he served as class president.
Frank was a member of PSATC, Lower Swatara Lions Club, Steelton Swatara Lodge 775 F&AM, American Red Cross, and the Dauphin County Republican Party. He was a proud supporter of the Lower Swatara Fire and Police Departments. Frank was on the Penn State Advisory Board and many other community organizations.
Viewings will be held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 and 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, February 20. 2021 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. The Funeral Service and Burial will be private. A public celebration of life event will be held at a later date.
