Born December 12, 1940, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Frank S. and Mary Rose (Horvath) Breiner, and was preceded in death by his sister, Marcia Spirk.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna L. (Cloud) Breiner; his son, Jeffrey T. Breiner; four brothers, Thomas Breiner of Hanover, James Breiner of Easton, Michael Breiner of Easton, and Dennis Breiner of Easton; and six sisters, Joannie Bellis of Bethlehem, Rita Martin of Hanover, Patricia Breiner of Hanover Roberta Abenschein of Bath, Mary Lynn Breiner of Hellertown, and Cindy Vinson of Danielsville.
Frank retired as the Comptroller for Penn DOT with over 40 years of service. He was a Board Member of PSECU for 52 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Frank was a graduate of St. Francis University, Loretto, PA.
He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Harrisburg. Frank was a member of the Armitage Men’s Golf Association. A member of the Penn Dot/Tin Cup Golf League for over 50 years. Frank was an avid Notre Dame fan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 2, 2022, at 12:00 pm, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. A visitation for family only will be held in the church from 11:00 am, until the time of service. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:30 pm, at the Country Club of Harrisburg.
