Born on October 3, 1926 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Edward D. and Helen (Neavling) Coble, Ed was a loving husband of over 57 years to his late wife, Eileen M. Coble, who passed away on December 23, 2010. He was a veteran of WWII and a 1951 graduate of the Palmer School of Chiropractic. He practiced in the Harrisburg area for over 44 years. Ed was also a long time resident for over 51 years of Beech Island on the Susquehanna River where he enjoyed boating and spending time with family and friends. Ed will be deeply missed as one of the most caring and giving individuals to his family and friends.
Ed was the father of two daughters, Lynn V. Fuller and the late Lori A. Santiago of Harrisburg; one son-in-law, Michael L. Fuller of Harrisburg; two grandsons and their wives, Michael E. and Denise M. Fuller of Harrisburg and Edwin L. and Liza Santiago of Greenville, NC; and four great grandchildren, Nicolas, Kaylee and Emma Fuller of Harrisburg and Ezra Santiago of Greenville, NC. He was preceded in death by one sister, Caroline (Coble) Feagan of Orlando, FL.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Penbrook with greeting and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Penbrook, 2730 Booser Ave., Hbg., PA 17103.
