Matt, Michele - I’m  so very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your mother, Deb. I was shocked when I heard the news at the gym. While I hadn’t known your mom for years, the past year getting to know her, chatting with her before or after class was a joy. Whether we were talking about animals, our grown kids, our new grandchildren or just general aging, she was always willing to listen, share her own story, or laugh. I will miss her smile, presence, and lovely personality. I send my deepest condolences to you and the family. May she Rest In Peace,

Deb was such a lovely, gracious person. 
She had a gift for making others feel like better versions of themselves...a way of making you feel like she saw you as someone quite special and wonderful. 
It was likely a reflection of her, all along.

My family and I were saddened by the death of Mrs. Crawford. She teached my son (Nebiy Esayas) and loved him. He felt so sad by her passing and so do we. We live in the same complex with Mrs. Crawford. We pray for her loved ones to get the strength.

Michelle and family...Deb was such a light. She was a mentor, and if it wasn't for her advice, help, guidance, care, patience...I could go on...I would not have had the great opportunities in my role as an educator. I can't possibly imagine the sadness and pain of her loss. She will be greatly missed by so many.  She was a good friend and cared deeply for those she knew. My heart aches for you.

I was just one of the many students Ms. Crawford showed unconditional love and support. I always savored my time in her classroom because of her engaging instruction, sharp wit and the genuine love she had for me and my peers. Her belief in my gifts was critical and helped power me as I pursued my dreams. I’ll forever be grateful for my time with her.

Matt, Michelle, & Kevin. My heart breaks for you. So many times Deb saved us when our kids were playing hockey. She took Steve, our oldest son, on many weekends while we took our other two to different destinations. Such a heart of gold and a smile that could light up any room or rink!!  Just know she is in a good place. I pray for your comfort. 

Ms. Crawford was an incredible educator, but even more than that she pushed her students to be the best they could be. When I studied AP calc with her, I never thought I could pass the AP exam, but she didn’t give up on me or any of her students. 

The dedication she had was infectious and she will be sorely missed by all.





 
Kevin, Matt and Michelle: We know you are heartbroken. As her next door neighbors, we loved Deb. She was so special. She was so caring and giving, funny and loving.  We so enjoyed being with her and will miss her so much. Love Mary and Carol

I am so sorry for your loss. Deb and I spend many fun days together. She was always a bright light in my life. She’s faced so tragic losses including the death of her husband. She handled all of the challenges with GRACE and kindness. It was my pleasure to be a part of her life Kathleen Daley

I substituted for Deb at HACC and always looked for her at HACC events. I enjoyed working out with her at the gym. After work I'd see her walking her son's dog around d the school grounds. I leaned on her a lot for teaching and career advice. I'm so shocked and sorry for your loss. I don't know anyone who didn't enjoy her company.

We wish we had the words to tell you how truly sorry we are for your loss.  Deb had the biggest heart.  Always helping someone, some group or some animal.   She loved all of you so much.   We were blessed to have known her.  She will be missed by many.

Michele and Matt,

I am the teacher and mother I am today because of my friendship with your mother. We taught across the hall from one another at EHS and shared our Calculus kids. We shared so much more: ideas, lesson plans, laughter, lunches, joys, frustrations, etc. Our friendship grew outside of school with our little Math Nerd group at dinners, playing games, and lots of laughter. She loved telling us how you were both doing. I will always treasure the memories and friendship. Thinking of you both.
