Christopher Michael Moll left this world on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 after a long struggle with complications from kidney and other organ failures. He was a lover of nature, fishing, the outdoors, his family, his friends and to all that ever met him.
He was the loving son of Michael R. and Kathleen (Kathy) Moll (Antoniewicz), Brother to Michael R. Moll Jr, Sister to Tanya Millicent Keckler (Moll) and Uncle to Austin B Keckler (Tanya's son). He was Grandson to Dorothy M. Moll of Arizona and Tatjana (Tanya) Antoniewicz of Allentown. He was nephew to Susan Antoniewicz, Donna Hettinger, Michael Antoniewicz of Allentown, PA and Diane (Moll) and Harvey Campbell of New River, AZ. He was preceded in death by Grandfathers Robert M. Moll and Josef Antoniewicz. Born in Allentown, PA on August 11, 1979, he moved with his young family that same year to grow up in Harrisburg, PA and graduated from Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg class of 1997. He received an Associate's Degree in Forestry from Pennsylvania College of Technology and while his illness never allowed for him to have employment in his area of Forestry he made up for that in his enjoyment of the outdoors and chasing Bigfoot. Chris will be remembered for being a great outdoorsman, fishing, kayaking, enjoying walks to nowhere and camping everywhere including his love of Yellowstone National Park where he worked many summers. He was a loyal fan and enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams the Minnesota Vikings and New York Mets with his Dad and brother. Chris had many friends who loved him and were there for him during his lengthy illness. He spent many years working at Coakley's in New Cumberland where he met and made a lifelong group of friends. He touched the hearts of many and will forever live in all of our memories.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2017 with a memorial service following at noon at Neill Funeral Home on 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Neill Funeral Home for a club he was active in named Penn-Jersey Muskie Inc. Chapter 50 where a plaque will be made in Chris's name as a memorial where the fish are stocked.
