She was born March 21, 1914 in Hazard, Nebraska, and was the widow of John Waters Jr.
She retired from the Pa. Dept. of Revenue and formerly employed by the Carlisle Shoe Co.
She was a member of the New Cumberland First Church of God, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts and reading.
She is survived by her son, Donald Nickel, of Paxtang; her daughter, Shirley Driggers, of Cooper City, FL; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandson; and two brothers, John Hurley, of Florida and Leslie Hurley, of Carlisle.
A viewing will be held 10:00 AM and the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
