Barry Edward Dean

Barry Edward Dean Sr., died on Monday, May 20, 2013, at Hershey Medical Center. He was born on November 14, 1941 in Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence E. Dean Jr. and Mildred Kaiser Dean, and his sister Paula Rittner.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra Baker Dean, his son, Barry Edward Dean Jr., and fiancAC. Renae McMullen. He is also survived by his sisters Joan Dean of Harrisburg, Beverly E. Bashore and husband Michael of Newport, Patricia H. Cook of Duncannon, Mary K. Uselton and husband Ricky of Middletown.

He will also be sadly missed by his brothers in law Barry E. Siple of Middletown, Wayne W. Gottshall and wife Sharon of Carlisle; sisters in law Bonnie J. Basom and husband Jon of Highspire, Penny E. MacDonald of California; many nieces , nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was loved and will be missed by many other family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at the Rail Community Center, 200 S. Hanover St., Hummelstown, on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with a celebratory gathering afterwards. Pastor Byan Hoke will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridge Church, 200 S. Hanover Street., Hummelstown, PA 17036.
