Annie R. Jackson

Annie Ruth Jackson, 86 of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, in UPMC Harrisburg. Annie was born November 24, 1936, in Sandersville, GA. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Elnora Dawson. She was preceded in death by her husband Preston J. Jackson, Sr., daughters, Eugenia (Patty) Watson, Betty Ruth Dawson and son, Preston J. Jackson, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Veronica Harteis (Michael) and Beatrice Jackson and her grandchildren, Virginia Jackson, Janice Watson, Arthur Watson, Caryn Crawford, L. Anthony Dawson-Jackson, Nyla Harteis and Kayla Harteis, great-great granddaughter, Marqwela Jackson, 9 great grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren and 6 great-great-great grandchildren, sisters-in-laws Betty Tunon and Constance Maddox, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA, with a viewing from 10:00 and until the time of the service. The interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
