Annette W. Floyd

Born August 9, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Charles B. and Ruth (Hoffman) Whitman.

Annette had varied careers. She was a certified elementary school teacher, who worked as a substitute teacher in the Middletown School District. She was the Executive Director of the Middletown area Chapter of the American Red Cross and was a part-time employee of B&G Lumber in Elizabethtown.

She volunteered much of her time with the Boy Scouts of America, the Girl Scouts of America and the National Day of Prayer. God and her family were the center of her life.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her three sons, David, Mark (Jill) and John (Janna); and her grandchildren, Anna, Daniel, Heidi, Rebekah, Samuel, Benjamin, Emma and Katherine.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 21, 2015, 11:00AM, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Spring Street, Middletown, PA 17057, the Rev. Dr. Richard Eckert officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
