She died peacefully in the presence of her loving family and friends at the place she loved most – her home.
Ramona served her church community of Queen of Peace with a deep sense of faith and commitment. She was a dedicated member of the Guadalupanas. As a Guadalupana she was active in the many social and spiritual events of the parish community. She opened her home to the Comunidades de Base and hosted annual posadas.
Among Ramona’s talents were her skills as a seamstress. She taught herself to sew and became known for the quality and professionalism of her work. She found a great sense of happiness in caring for her plants and fruit trees, as well as spending time sitting in the quiet of her yard.
Ramona is preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Sepulveda.
She was the proud mother of two children, Ray Sepulveda, a Vietnam veteran, and Isabel Kirk, registered nurse.
She is also survived by her son-in-law Richard Kirk and her sister Angelina Vasquez of Houston, Texas.
Ramona’s great joys were her grandchildren. They are John and Jay Garcia, Eric, Chris, Sara, and Mandy Sepulveda, also great grandchildren Eric Lane and Evan Sepulveda, and Aryah Isabel Garcia-McKee. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
