Maria Idolina Castillo

She is preceded in death by her husband; Romulo (Romeo) Castillo, father; Hipolito Montemayor, mother; Plutarca V. Montemayor and sister; Evanglina M. de Chapa.

She is survived by her daughter; Juana I. Castillo Cortez, grandsons; Juan Carlos Cortez, Romulo Ceasar Cortez, and granddaughter Eva Idolina Cortez. Stepdaughter Luz (Lucha) C (Armando) Martinez; Stepson Romulo B. (Romeo) Barbara Castillo, and grandchildren. 7 sisters; Maria A. (Ralph) James, Carolina Perez, Feliza (Carlos) Valdez, Maria E. Montemayor, Flor E. Montemayor, Martha (Lupe) Reyes, Odilia Cortez, 3 brothers; Sigfredo (Juana) Montemayor, Manuel J. (Josie) Montemayor, and Jose C. (Concepcion) Montemayor. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Maria Idolina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed life.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Harlingen on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park, San Benito, Texas.
