Jesus T. Gonzalez

Primera, Texas - Jesus T. Gonzalez, 78, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Gonzalez was proud of all his children. He cherished and loved showing photos of his family. He was the #1 fan of the Harlingen Cardinals.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Aurora P. Gonzalez; his children, Leticia Gonzalez, Oscar (Sylvia) Gonzalez, Ariel Gonzalez, Letty Lara Gonzalez, Iris (Kenneth Sr.) Quillens, Aaron (Nancy) Gonzalez, Rory (Jesse) Gonzales, and Jesus Gonzalez, Jr. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas. Interment will follow at Harlingen-Combes Memorial Cemetery in Combes, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are his Grandsons, Kenneth Jr., Trey, Loscar, Michael Eli, Oracio, Jesse James, Mark, and Michael. Honorary pallbearers will be Arnulfo, Joseph, Christian, and Kayne.
