Clementina Garza

Clementina Garza, 85, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. As the pillar of a great decendency, Clementina set the example of family unity and its importance. She lived her life with great faith in Our Father Almighty and continuosly prayed for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnulfo Garza; daughter, Maria Ramona Garza de Silva; grandchild, Maria Tamez; and her parents, Pedro Salazar and Victoria Rodriguez.

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Irma (Alejandro) Chavez, Francisco (Maria) Garza, Ciro M. (Enedina) Garza, Maria G. (Roble) Tamez, Jesus (Ramona) Garza, Juan A. (Juanita) Garza, Jose C. (Dora) Garza, and Joaquin E. (Cindy) Garza. She is also survived by 45 grandchildren and 102 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.
