Marilyn L. (nee Albrecht) Delagrange, 86, of Woodburn, passed away at her home on Friday, August 29, 2021. Born on May 21, 1935, in Flint Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Anna (nee Maust) Albrecht.
Marilyn was a member of the Maplewood Mennonite Church, Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker and quilter who retired from Brotherhood Mutual, and who then went into childcare. Marilyn is survived by her sons, Brad (Deborah) Delagrange, and Lowell (Natalie) Delagrange; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Marilyn was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. Delagrange; daughters, Angela R. Delagrange, and Julie A. Delagrange; brothers, Kenny, Willie, and Cecil Albrecht; and sisters, Bertha Plank and Joyce Albrecht.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Central Ministries Church (5801 Schwartz Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Hockemeyer Funeral Home (17629 State Road 37, Harlan). Burial will be in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill.
