Audrey Mae Hetrick Bruns

AUDREY MAE BRUNS, 87, of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Coving-ton Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born Oct. 3, 1927, in Wood-burn, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Harold and Ida (Cohrs) Hetrick. Audrey was a wonderful homemaker and a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Woodburn, Ind. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and traveling. Surviving are her daughters, Donna (John) Reckeweg of Woodburn, Ind., Jane (Brent) Munro of Huntington, Ind. and June (Chris) Hertel of Woodburn, Ind.; sons, Rick (Karen) Bruns of New Haven, Ind. and Randall Bruns of Kenner, La.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson; sister, Rita (Ron) Meredith of Grabill, Ind.; and brothers, John Hetrick of Woodburn, Ind., Richard (Michelle) Hetrick of Edon, Ohio, and Max (Jane) Hetrick of Grabill, Ind. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; daughter, Doris Thiele; sister, Marie Keller; brothers, Donald, Gene, Robert, and Marion Hetrick; grandsons, Rodney and Jason Thiele; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Meyer. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St., Woodburn, Ind., with calling one hour prior.
