Tommy was born May 20, 1939, in Sherman, Texas, to Jesse Bryan and Lela Mae Wilson. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Fresno State in 1962. He was a computer programmer for nearly 50 years, and during the last 16 years of his semi-retirement, he worked as a substitute teacher for Hanford Unified School District.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Virginia, of Hanford, CA; children, Cheri Halvorson, Katherine Gipson, and Jeffrey Wilson; sons-in-law, Eric Halvorson and Rocky Gipson; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Tommy is also survived by his siblings, Lavada Bailey, Steven Windell Wilson, and Jesse Dwayne Wilson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, John Wilson.
Visitation and viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at People's Funeral Chapel: 501 N Douty St, Hanford, CA 93230.
A memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel, and a reception will immediately follow at First Missionary Baptist Church of Armona: 10649 Railroad Ave, Armona, CA 93202.
