Tina F. Stryd

Tina was born on August 28, 1959 in Ribeirinha, Terceira, Azores to Manuel and Lealtina Matos. On November 23, 1973 Tina and her family established a home in Hanford, Ca. A year later she met Henrique Ormonde and they married. During their 19 year marriage they had three daughters.

In 1995 Tina met Doug Stryd they later married March 20, 1999. They established their home at the Stryd Ranch in Hanford, Ca. Tina and Doug enjoyed many travels together especially to their home in Morro Bay. After a 16 year marriage Doug sadly passed away April 22, 2015.

Tina was an active woman, she enjoyed life to its fullest. She enjoyed spending time in Morro Bay gardening, sewing, running marathons, horseback riding, hiking and spending time with many friends. She touched many lives and was always happy to help others. Tina’s upmost love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Tina is survived by her brother Manuel Matos, her three daughters Bernadette, Debbie and Lisa and she cherished her seven grandchildren Adreanna, Isac, Marissa, Leanndra, Isabel, Antonia and Mia along with her four great-grandchildren Austin, Zayden, Wyatt and Zayla.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church; 20855 S. Fatima Avenue, Laton, CA 93242 with Burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery; 19811 S. Cedar Avenue, Laton, CA 93242.
